Mary Pearson gets a Christmas tree tattoo on her arm from Emily Strickland at Leviathan Tattoo in Scarborough on Wednesday. Pearson is the daughter of Christmas tree farmer James Pearson, who died after being attacked in his front yard in Scarborough last December. The tattoo shop held a fundraiser on Friday, giving people Christmas tree tattoos and donating half of the proceeds to the Pearson Family Memorial Fund, which was created after Pearson's death and will benefit college students studying a trade, or the horticulture, forestry or education fields.
