The pedal pull, a competition that has its roots at the Clinton Agricultural Fair dating back to the 1970's, continued on Sunday. Here Elizabeth Wright, 5, of Clinton, pedals the tractor with 39 lbs in the sled, down the track. This was the first year using the new sled. The further the sled moves down the track, the closer the weight tray gets to the part of the sled that contacts the ground, which creates more friction for the peddler.
