Augusta Mayor David Rollins meets 11-year-old Gabe Griffin and his father, Scott Griffin, on Friday in Capitol Park in Augusta. Gabe, of Alabama, has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a condition that prompted him and his father to travel along the East Coast to raise awareness of it. They are joined by three cyclists, who started Friday morning in Houlton and are ending their trip just outside Lewiston, and are calling their campaign Ride4Gabe.
