Runners head north on Water Street at the start of the 2016 Old Hallowell Day 5K Race on Saturday in Hallowell. There were 209 finishers on the hilly route that went north on Water Street toward Augusta then returned south on Second Street before looping back north on Middle Street before finishing in Vaughan Field. Alan Gourdle was the first male runner at 17:31 and Katherine O'Keefe was first female runner at 19:50.
