    CAP.cutline_standalone:Jim Norton, 78, pulls himself under a mower Tuesday while sharpening blades on the implement he uses to cut hay at his Farmingdale farm. Norton said most farmers are getting only half the hay they harvested last year because the spring was so dry. “A rainy May mean lots of hay,” Norton said. “Hay will be worth a fortune in the spring.”

The church group from Maryville, Tennessee, was sightseeing after a mission to teach vacation Bible school at Sheepscot Valley Community Church in Whitefield. The chairs, donated by individuals and businesses, were recently put out on the bulkhead.
