    Farmingdale officials erect polling stations Monday for the town's election on Tuesday at Hall-Dale High School in Farmingdale. A rigid piece of plastic was attached to the front of polling stations to avoid transmission of COVID-19 and enable people to cast ballots in complete privacy. Absentee voting has been heavy in the community, they said.
