A large turnout of firefighters from many area departments battled a wind-driven woods fire off Route 43 in Starks on Wednesday.

Firefighters hauled water hoses into the woods in Starks to fight a fire on Wednesday. The department had to get water from Clearwater Pond in Industry, about five miles away.
