People greet each other Sunday at the Augusta Civic Center on the first leg of the Wreaths Across America trip from Maine.
Flag-waving supporters at left watch as a large convoy of police from many agencies escort tractor trailers full of holiday wreathes from Wreaths Across America make its way down Main Street in Unity on route to Washington, D.C. on Sunday. The wreaths will be placed at graves of veterans buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
Truck drivers arrive Sunday at the Augusta Civic Center on the first leg of the Wreaths Across America trip from Maine. Several tractor trailers are delivering the fir decorations across the U.S.
