Jeremy Cotnoir sits under a transformer resting on the roof of his SUV in November after it struck a utility pole on Maple Street in Farmingdale. After being trapped for more than an hour, Central Maine Power crews were able to turn the power off and Farmingdale firefighters were able to extricate Cotnoir and his wife, Sara, and their daughters, Skye and Ella. The West Gardiner family, who were returning from religious services, was uninjured.
