Staff photo by Michael G. Seamans John Mitchell received two awards during induction of the 2014 Maine Basketball hall of Fame inaugural class at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Thursday. Mitchell accepted on behalf of the Waterville High School team of 1944 that won the Maine State Championship and the New England Championship in 1944. He was also inducted in to Hall as an individual player.
