No one had to tell Central Maine Power Co. line worker Michael Ross how hot it was Tuesday as he added protective insulation to power lines near a construction site on Parris Street. Ross, whose hair was soaked in sweat under his hardhat, said he was trying to drink lots of water to endure the weather, but otherwise it was "just another day."
