Bob Dawson, adjutant, and Colin Hewett, commander, hold a large print of U.S. Marine Pvt. Alfred Maxwell Jr. marching in 1942 Memorial Day parade on Friday at the Alfred Maxwell Jr. American Legion Post 40 in Winthrop. They say that the parade route would have gone past the site of the eponymous post.
