Runners go past the clock on front door of Cony High School on Thursday during the annual Gasping Gobbler 5K in Augusta. Over 100 participants ran or walked in the event that was a fundraiser for the Cony All Sports Boosters. First male and female finishers won a turkey topped trophy and also a frozen turkey, dinner rolls and a pie. In the age group awards, first place was a frozen turkey, followed by the pie and rolls. Event organizer Shawn Totman said that if winners didn't want to take the food their prizes would be donated to a local food bank.
