Nearly 150 people gather in Freeport on Tuesday morning to show support for the Freeport Flag Ladies. The three women have stood on the corner and waved American flags since the attacks of 9/11.

"This is why this country is great," Elaine Greene says. "Because of people like this who took time to come out and come together."
Freeport High School seniors Lily Johnston, Chloe Hight and Lindsay Cartmell show support for Liza Moore, a Freeport teacher who has held signs in the same area where the Freeport Flag Ladies stand, supporting refugees and urging Americans to be more accepting of outsiders.
