    Susan Evans directs a rehearsal of the Temple Bell Choir. The bell choir plays every Sunday during religious services in The Temple, which is on the National Historic Register. The Temple is a large octagonal building that was built in 1881 and can hold about 800 people. Numerous summer programs are held in The Temple and it is considered by many in the community to be the center, both geographically and spiritually, of the oceanside retreat.
