Firefighters from several departments battled a smokey fire that destroyed the mobile home rented by Ron and Sandra Gogan at the China Lake Park in Vassalboro. A neighbor said the couple were out delivering Meals on Wheels when their home caught fire.

    Main Street Dairy Treat owner Tim Acord adjusts the time on the street clock around 11:30 a.m. Thursday in front of his shop in downtown Richmond. Acord said that he bought the replica of Hamilton street clock. He was working on the electronic controls in the base that control a small motor in the top that moves the hands.
