    Drew Desjardins shows Madagascar hissing cockroaches during his "Mr. Drew and His Animals Too" presentation Tuesday at Gardiner Public Library. It was the first public event in the Children's Room since before the coronavirus pandemic. Attendance was capped at about 50. During his a hourlong show Desjardins showed insects, lizards, snakes, tortoises and a snapping turtle.
