People paddle north Saturday across Minnehonk Lake at the start of the eighth annual 30 Mile River Watershed Association paddle trek in Mount Vernon. After Minnehonk Lake, the approximately 50 paddlers kept traveling through Hopkins Stream to Echo Lake, then Lovejoy Pond and Pocasset Lake, and ended at Mill Pond in Wayne Village.
