Administrators and staff members from Togus and the Veterans Benefits Administration travel to a different location in Maine each month to have a conversation with veterans, Lilly said. "It's a chance to share and get feedback," he said, adding that it's also an opportunity for veterans to learn about benefits to which they are entitled. Palmer serves as the vice commander of American Legion Post 2 in Augusta.
