Investigators with that agency, state and Skowhegan police and firefighters blocked access to the home after resident Philip Ewing notified police Saturday evening that he was disabling a black powder cannon. Police reportedly found containers of bleach, gunpowder, gasoline and other explosive materials. Area homes were evacuated.
