    Alewife migrate Tuesday up Seven Mile Brook in Vassalboro. Don Lettre, who counts the fish for the town, said about 1,000 alewife made it up the ladder on the dam into Webber Pond on Monday, with another 14,000 needed before commercial harvesting may begin.
