Chris Cart paints a mural outside his studio in Hallowell on Tuesday that Bath Main Street commissioned. Cart built the rack to hold the panels of the mural and a roof over it outside his studio because the mural panels were too big to paint inside the studio and he couldn't paint the mural in place like he did at the Capital Judicial Center last year. When connected, the two metal panels will be 22 feet wide by 4 feet tall and will be mounted to welcome people to downtown Bath.
