CAP.cutline_standalone:Gardiner Public Library archivist Dawn Thistle, center, hands documents to Bill King, right, and Hank McIntyre on Tuesday about people buried at St. Anne's churchyard in Gardiner. The men are trying to locate the plots of the deceased in the oldest burial ground in the community. A recent scan by a ground penetrating radar discovered 41 "anomalies" that indicate locations of people buried since 1791, King said. The men have recovered 16 headstones so far.
