A school bus rests in a ditch off Route 109 in Sanford where it crashed into a tree Monday morning.

Brion Hartford of Hartford Towing dismantles part of the door of the school bus Monday morning. Three children and an adult bus monitor were transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure, according to Capt. Paul Dubois of the Sanford Fire Department. He said the female driver of the bus was injured and transported to Southern Maine Healthcare in Sanford.
