Small business Saturday involves a twist in the Kennebunks where they celebrate the fifth annual Pajama Shopping Day. Judy Stark of Kennebunk, dressed in her leopard onesie, is helped by owner Elysa Cooper at Junebug's Beach House in Kennebunkport?. Cooper, who owns a store in Ogunquit and has had the Kennebunkport location for two years, said that shopping traffic was steady on Saturday morning. "People love the tradition of it", she said. "It's great to support local businesses", said Orciani, who along with Yerxa started shopping at 7am on Saturday.
