    Firefighters and police escort Jason Begin, a Riverview Psychiatric Center outpatient who was shot by Augusta Police Officer Laura Drouin on Jan. 12 following a confrontation at an office at the former MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. Begin, who was threatening himself and others with a knife, has since recovered and is at Riverview. Drouin is back on patrol after an internal investigation found she followed correct procedure during the incident.
