Maranacook Community High School girls basketball coach Karen Travis Magnusson, center, laughs Monday at Dolev Rabinovich splashing down in a puddle in the school's tennis courts while she directed a conditioning course with her husband, Travis, for the Readfield school's female soccer and basketball players. The high school athletes sprinted at a safe social distance in drizzle that gave way to clear skies and temperatures in the 90s, according to the National Weather Service. Rabinovich, the son of Maranacook school nurse Anya Davidson, followed in the belly flops of the Magnusson's children, Landen and Tucker, who plunged in out of the puddles all morning.

She is a member of the Maine Big Buck Club, a distinction awarded those who have bagged a deer weighing at least 200 pounds. "I'll never give up hunting," she says. Several relatives attended the celebration, including fifth-generation descendants.

Dawbin, a resident of Hallowell, released the bass after displaying it to the chief.
