Dozens attended the event that took place to raise awareness about the issue of opioid addiction. The event included a candlelight vigil to remember those lost to addiction.

His and wife Brittany Burbank's bakery business is one of the 16 regular vendors at the riverfront market. The market takes place every Tuesday in the Mill Park pavilion until Thanksgiving week. Items for sale at the market include vegetables, baked goods, meat, eggs, honey, maple syrup, berries, micro-greens, spices, vinegar, olive oil, sheep fleeces and blacksmith items.
