Keith McCray looks for a spot for another package Tuesday at The Mailing Center at Shaw’s Plaza in Augusta. McCray said the second-to-last Monday before Christmas Day — which was Monday this week — is the busiest shipping day of the year. The Mailing Center packs and ships with the U.S. Postal Service, UPS and FedEx. This holiday season is expected to be the biggest in the history of package delivery, thanks to an increase in holiday shopping and an improved economy.
