Bingham man with sex offense history indicted on charges he sexually assaulted minors last July
Christopher C. Cates, 48, of Bingham, who is a lifetime registered sexual offender, was indicted earlier this month on charges he sexually assaulted multiple children and later attempted to interfere in the investigation into his conduct following his arrest.

Skowhegan man arrested after woman is run over by vehicle in Bingham, suffering severe injuries
Ryan Paul Mann, 43, was charged with aggravated assault, a Class B offense, and driving to endanger, a Class C offense, related to an incident early Saturday in Bingham where a vehicle drove over a woman, who remains at a Portland hospital with severe injuries, including four fractures to her pelvis.

Bingham man taken into custody on new charges days after arrest on sex assault charges
Christopher C. Cates, 48, was charged early last week with assaulting two young children, and officials said after he was released from jail, he violated conditions of his release by contacting people involved in the assault case.
