WINSLOW — Alan and Susan Veilleux of Winslow recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at a party given by their children at the home of Ryan and Jen Veilleux with family and friends attending.

Mr. Veilleux and the former Susan Henry were married July 10, 1971, at Sacred Heart Church in Waterville.

Susan is employed at Hannaford General Office in Waterville.

Alan recently retired after 34 years of service with Springfield Terminal/Maine Central Railroad.

The couple have a son, Ryan and his wife Jennifer Veilleux of Winslow and a daughter, Melissa and her husband Joseph Peters of Lisbon; and three grandchildren, Maya and Isabella Veilleux of Winslow, and Molly Peters of Lisbon.
