CLINTON — Traffic on Railroad Street will be affected starting today as work begins to upgrade a railroad crossing and repave a portion of the road.
Today, Railroad Street will be limited to one lane of traffic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. as a new culvert is installed. On Monday, road work will resume from about 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the road may be temporarily closed throughout the day.
Railroad Street will be closed all day and night, starting 6 a.m. Tuesday and ending 6 p.m. Wednesday, as Pan Am Railways upgrades its railroad track and crossing with new materials. Detour signs will be posted.
