BRUNSWICK — Junior forward Nick Aubin scored two goals, both assisted by Andrew Meisel, to lead the Colby College men’s soccer team past rival Bowdoin 2-0 in a New England Small College Athletic Conference game Saturday.

Aubin now has four game-winning goals for the Mules (5-4-0). He has 10 goals and seven assists for 27 career points.

Colby goalie Ben Joslin had three saves to earn the shutout.

Thomas 4, Green Mountain 0: Sophomore Andrei Nogueira had a goal and an assist to lead the Terriers in Waterville.

Michael Hand, Kyle Rabe and Kyle Jandreau also scored for Thomas (6-4-0). which led 3-0 at the half. Mikkail Crockwell needed to make just two saves to earn the shutout.

Green Mountain dropped to 1-8-1.

Castleton St, 1, UMaine-Farmington 0, OT: Trevor Kotrady’s overtime goal lifted the Spartans to the North Atlantic Conference win in Farmington. Derek Reilly made two saves in goal for UMF (5-5-0, 3-2-0). Castleton State is 7-4-1, 4-0-0.

Women’s soccer

Colby 0, Bowdoin 0: Emily Brook stopped all 12 shots she faced to help the Mules settle for a scoreless draw in Brunswick.

Colby is 4-4-1.

Maddie Lane stopped four shots, including a breakaway, to lead the Polar Bears (3-3-3), who played their sixth overtime game.

Thomas 1, Green Mountain 0: Sophomore Arian Kumlangngam scored an unassisted goal 1:32 into overtime to lead the Terriers to the North Atlantic Conference victory in Waterville.

Sophomore goal keeper Kate Thibodeau had six saves to lead Thomas (2-9-0).

Emma Lord had eight saves for the Eagles (0-7-1).

Castleton St. 4, UMF 0: Courtney Chadburn and Kelsey Lenney each had a goal an asssit to lead the visitors to the NAC win. Beth Lebel made two saves for UMaine-Farmington (4-6-3, 2-3-1). Castleton is 9-4-0, 4-0-0.

Women’s hockey

Maine 5, Quinnipiac 4: Danielle Ward scored 2:32 into overtime to lift the Black Bears in Hampden, Conn.

Ward finished with two goals for Maine, which at 4-0-0 is off to its best start in program history. Myriam Croussette, Brittany Dougherty and Missy Denk also scored for Maine.

Kelly Babstock had two goals for the Bobcats (1-3-0).

Field hockey

Bowdoin 3, Colby 0: Katie Herter scored two goals and an assist to lead the Polar Bears in a NESCAC game in Brunswick.

Katie Riley also scored for Bowdoin (8-0-0).

Goalie Michelle Burt had 16 saves for the Mules (1-7-0).

NEIcAAA Championships:

Monks Invitational: The Thomas men finished seventh and the women eighth at the Monks Invitational in Standish.

Will Janakis finished the 8-kilometer race at St. Joseph’s College in 32:45. Sarah Estes led the Terriers with a time of 24:57.

Also Saturday: Franklin Pierce senior and Maranacook graduate Tia Levins scored her team leading 11th goal as the field hockey team lost 2-1 to UMass-Lowell.
