The Republicans are trying to eliminate same-day voter registration, claiming there is a voter fraud problem.

There is no evidence of voter fraud, and they know it. Their real reason is a shameful attempt to try to suppress the votes of younger and more liberal voters who are more likely to register on election day and more likely to vote Democrat.
