PORTLAND — Pittsfield and North Vassalboro business leaders have been recognized for their impact on Maine’s economy, according to a recent announcement from the sponsoring organization.
Marada and Leah Cook, co-owners of Crown of Maine Organic Co-op in North Vassalboro, and Jon Christensen, chief financial officer of Kleinschmidt Associates in Pittsfield, were named to the Mainebiz Next list.
They are featured in the Oct. 17 issue of the business magazine and website, and honored at a reception Wednesday, Nov. 3, at a public reception in Freeport.
The others honored are:

* Elizabeth Mitchell, chief executive officer of Maine Health Management Coalition and Foundation in Portland.

* Gunnar Hubbard, principal and founder of Fore Solutions in Portland.
* Mike and Kyle Rancourt, president and vice president of sales and marketing of Rancourt & Co. Shoecrafters in Lewiston.
