FARMINGTON — The University of Maine at Farmington has scheduled the following events:

* Campus Sustainability Day dinner will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the South Dining Hall, UMF Olsen Student Center.

The event focuses on local foods, and Aramark will feature a station with all local foods that diners can choose from. Since the SCC wants to connect with the local community, Aramark has offered a discounted ticket to community members from 6 to 7 p.m. There will be a fundraiser that day for the EcuHeat fund, which provides local low-income people with heating assistance. Cost is $7. The event is sponsored by Aramark Dining Services and UMF Sustainable Campus Coalition.
