Maybe someone could explain something that has irritated me for a long time: How is that a forthright person with any form of honesty and decency can stay faithful to either the Democratic or Republican party knowing full well that they are corrupt and prejudiced.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean all of them. I’m talking about the ones who continue to deceive the public and support big business organization to sustain their campaigns.

If a child kept telling his parent lies and proceeded to steal from the parent every chance he could, what would the punishment be?

Would you give them time out, explain that their behavior is unacceptable, or would you let it ride?

We continue letting dishonest politicians lead us down this tainted road of so-called recovery. Stimulus money that goes to companies in bankruptcy or go out of business, money for jobs that go out of the United States, money for banks so CEOs can receive their pension fund, support unions so they can become more powerful, with no private-sector jobs.

Apologize to other countries for our previous administrators, FEMA, which wants some people to pay back funds they received, the EPA regulated this country to death, reporting half-truths, jeopardizing the country’s security.

When are Americans going to learn that politics as usual is not acceptable?

People who have faith should have it in yourself, the one person who has the ability to make a big difference. Just think what a billion could do. Vote responsibly in 2012, be proud Americans again.
