SKOWHEGAN — Kevin and Shelby Nelson of Skowhegan have announced the engagement of their daughter, Erica Nelson to Lance Cote, son of Joseph Cote of Madison and Kimberly Knight of Skowhegan.

Erica and Lance are both students at Kennebec Valley Community College studying Precision Machining Technology.

They are both employed by Mid-State Machine in Winslow.

A September 2012 wedding is planned.
