AUGUSTA — Veronica Marshall and Shawn Belanger of Augusta were married Sept. 24, 2011, at the Belgrade Community Center, Belgrade.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Starla Marshall of Richmond. The bridegroom is the son of Gary and Carolyn Belanger of Gardiner. Veronica is the granddaughter of Ronald and Agnasan Hafer of Hampton, Va. and Arthur and Beatrice Marshall of Camden. Shawn is the grandson of Kenneth and Isabelle Kelsey of Pittston.

Amber Marshall was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tara Moulton and Ashley Vigue. Miranda Bannister was a junior bridesmaid. Raiden Burke was the flower girl.

Gary Belanger was best man. Ushers were Lee Hamel and Joe Coleman. Aiden Tremain was the ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Belgrade Community Center.

Veronica is attending college.

Shawn is a graduate of Thomas College. He is employed by the Department of Health and Human Services in Augusta.

The couple took a wedding trip to the Caribbean and live in Augusta.
