WESTBROOK — The parents of Martinique McNichol and Nathan Allen are happily announcing their engagement.

Marti is the daughter of Loretta McNichol of Belgrade and Stephen McNichol of Hartland. Nathan is the son of Carl and Linda Allen of Winslow.

Marti is a 1997 graduate of Maine Central Institute and is employed at Casco Federal Credit Union in Gorham as Operations Manager.

Nathan is a 1994 graduate of Winslow High School and a 1998 graduate of Plymouth State College, where he earned a bachelors degree in Business Management. He is currently employed at Idexx Laboratories in Westbrook as a Customer Support Consultant.

The couple reside in Westbrook.

An October 2012 wedding on Peaks Island is planned.
