OAKLAND — A free rabies clinic for the pets of residents is planned for 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the fire station, 11 Fairfield St.

This clinic is also open to non-residents for a fee of $10.

Owners are required to bring the certificate to receive a three-year vaccination for pets that have been vaccinated before, otherwise pets will receive a one-year vaccination.

Town Office staff will be available to issue 2012 dog licenses to residents. All dogs must be licensed prior to Jan. 31. Registration fees cost $6 for spayed/neutered and $11 for non-spayed/neutered.
