WATERVILLE — Mayor Karen Heck’s inaugural ball is scheduled for 8- 11 p.m. Saturday at Champions Fitness Center, at Elm Plaza.

Tickets are $25 and available at Champions; Hardy Girls, Healthy Women on Common Street; Joseph’s Fireside Steakhouse on West River Road; online at hghw.org; or by calling 861-8131.

The ball will benefit Hardy Girls, Healthy Women and the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter.

Attire is flannel to fancy. There will be food and a cash bar. Caterers include Joseph’s, Acadia Cakes, Amici’s Cucina, Barrel’s Community Market, the Last Unicorn, Lebanese Cuisine, Selah Tea Cafe and Starbucks.

DJ Cory King will be on hand; Colby College jazz professor Eric Thomas and the Heckster 5 will perform. There will also be a silent auction.
