WINSLOW — Aaron Manter and Dallas Clark each scored unassisted goals to lead the Cony High School hockey team past Skowhegan 2-0 in an Eastern A game Saturday.

“A win is a win, and we’ll take it,” Cony coach Chad Foye said. “But we need to play better.”

Matt Swan stopped 19 shots to earn the shutout for Cony (6-3-0).

Kyle Carrier had 22 saves for the Indians (3-5-2).

“We deserved better,” Skowhegan coach Jeff Fowler said. “(Cony) didn’t have our energy in the second and third periods.”
