AUGUSTA – Christian McCue scored 17 points and Fred Knight had a double-double to lead top-seeded Hampden Academy past No. 9 Erskine 53-38 in an Eastern A quarterfinal game Saturday night at the Augusta Civic Center.

Erskine junior guard Devin Duncan led all scorers with 20 points, including three 3-pointers. Tom Grady added nine points for Erskine.

Bangor bounced No. 4 Lawrence from the tournament with a 48-31 victory.
