AUGUSTA – The top-seeded Dirigo High School boys basketball team raced out to a 30-7 lead and never looked back en route to a 90-31 victory over Hall-Dale in a Western C semifinal Thursday night at the Augusta Civic Center.

“It was brutal,” Hall-Dale coach Jim Patrick said. “Dirigo definitely came ready to play.”

Cody St. Germain scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed six rebounds to pace Dirigo

Caleb Turner scored 15 points for the Cougars (19-1), who will meet upstart Old Orchard Beach in the Western C final Saturday night at 8:45 p.m.

Ben Crocker scored eight points and Mike Woods added five to lead No. 4 Hall-Dale (13-7).
