It was refreshing to see a resumption of investigative journalism in the March 19 newspaper: “Watchdogs fault state for lax ethical oversight.”

We certainly need more of same.

Many feel the failure of the fourth estate on a national level (no doubt because of insider control of all major news media) is a leading cause of the demise of the United States.
