A $1,000 grand prize is being offered in a poetry contest sponsored by Central Point Fine Arts. The contest is free and there will be 50 prizes totaling $5,000.

To enter, send one poem of 21 lines or less to: Poetry Contest, P.O. Box 3336, Central Point, Ore. 97502 or enter online at freecontest.com by March 31. Name and address must be on the page with the poem. A winners list will be sent to all entrants.

Poems may be written on any subject, using any style.
