WOOLWICH — Shelter Institute is accepting applications for its annual scholarship established to honor company co-founder Patricia K. Hennin.

This scholarship will be awarded to a local high school junior or senior interested in the fields of engineering, architecture or construction. The scholarship recipient will receive free enrollment in the Shelter Institute course of their choice.

Eligible applicants should be high school juniors or seniors enrolled in school and residents of Maine. Preference is given to students with a demonstrated interest in the fields of engineering, architecture or construction.

Applications may be obtained from the student’s high school guidance office or from Shelter Institute. For more information, call 442-7938 or email [email protected]. The deadline for applications is 3 p.m. April 30. The scholarship recipient will be announced Friday, May 4.
