The Select Board of the town of Dresden wishes to thank everyone involved in the safe return of Micah Thomas to his family on March 15.

Special appreciation is extended to the professional teams directing the successful search and rescue operations including, but not limited to, the Maine State Warden Service, Marine Patrol, State Police, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln County Emergency Management Service, search and rescue teams from near and far, and neighboring fire and rescue departments.

Special thanks go to the individual volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to get involved and offer assistance. The town of Dresden is proud of its fire department and residents for assisting and coordinating its resources for this successful effort.
