So Gov. Paul LePage and his band of merry men get what they want with the resignation of Dale McCormick.

Although nothing was ever proven, I’m sure if they had dug hard enough they would have found something.

Instead they used bullying tactics and baseless accusations to force a woman to resign so they can, in my opinion, put someone in that office they can more easily manipulate.

McCormick probably felt she could no longer be an effective leader with the constant barrage of accusations. That is sad because McCormick has always worked hard for the state of Maine. I am sure she will be better off in the long run, but will Maine?
